She took the time to make sure I had all my questions answered and was so helpful. We just moved to Colorado in March and one of the first things we did was get our State Farm policies switched over. "I am currently on 3 weeks from a easy claim that was reviewed April 9th and today is April 29th. I've been told My claim is being delayed by a State farm investigator who stated that she still needs the police report from the police that they ordered apparently. Also to speak with the detective who she left a voicemail with two to three weeks ago but hasn't fouled up with since then and I have talked to weekly up until a week and a half ago because the case is closed besides the person missing that burglars my house. Instead of her offering to reach out or trying her best, he asked me if I can get a hold of him and have him call her. Finally I gave up text the detective knowing that he most likely doesn't want to call her because it's ongoing investigation since the person stop caught, but this claim as drag me into such financial strains and the burglary as well, that I am doing anything I can at this point to just expedite the process at this point. Of course the detective doesn't respond because he doesn't want to contact a State farm investigator for an insurance claim it's not his job. So I'm just waiting after I talk to the investigator and left a voicemail on Wednesday after uploading everything they needed five different times and sitting a screenshot that I text the police officer. According to her voicemail, she has to talk to the detective first and get the police report before anything can happen. Mind you The thing was reviewed on the 9th police report was done A week prior and everything was complete on the 15th in regards to the investigation. The only reason it's still open is because they haven't talked the individuals yet. Moving forward, I start looking at my billing because I've had issues with and this isn't State farms fault, My payment game return because the bank account number is wrong that they have for automatic payments. So on the 16th I called in and paid a $40 return fee in 2 months of payments over the phone via debit card. 2 days later on April 18th, My automatic payment goes through which I said please don't when I called the office, And of course I got returned but mind you I was paid up at that time. This gets better. Sunday I'm wondering what's going on so I go into billing and sure enough they have canceled my policy. I call State farm customer service and the gentleman was very nice on the phone. He stated it was canceled but because of payment issues but he could take my payment and place me on hold. He returned to the phone and thank me for my time and said this is the weirdest thing he seen but he's going to message my State farm agent for her to call me on Monday so I can get this clarified and fixed. I asked him what was the payment due he said 200 and something dollars which would be paying off my policy, but my policy was good until June? I don't blame Morgan for all this it was confusing and she has been good to work with as far as the office because I'm a new policy holder in there's not much he can do since my claim is investigation. I did text her yesterday Monday the 28th regarding this and she assured me that my policy was still current there was just confusion on the billing. Then I go to the mailbox today and get a letter from State farm from Morgan's office that says they're canceling my policy because of my claim history. They only list the burglary which is the only claim I've ever had as far as homeowners / renters insurance as the reason and show the claim still open. I will be updating this I am posting now because I don't know what else to do at this point. To summarize: IF YOU VALUE YOUR PEACE OF MIND and expect to be TREATED WITH DIGNITY by your insurance provider, DO NOT choose State Farm. My renters insurance claim has been met with endless delays, which I believe is a clear indication of bad faith. On top of that, the way they've interacted with me has been accusatory and demeaning – I felt like I was being treated as a criminal. This company's practices are unacceptable, and I urge everyone to look elsewhere for their insurance needs."
